Todd Holmes is a historian, biographer, and documentarian. He received his PhD in history from Yale University, and has spent the last decade working at Yale, Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley. A specialist in California and the American West, his work focuses on the history of politics, business, environmental regulation, and agriculture in the region. In addition to Teidi Productions, he is a Historian and Associate Academic Specialist with the Oral History Center of the Bancroft Library at U.C. Berkeley. He also serves as one of the lead historians for the California State Government Oral History Program.


Heidi Holmes is a digital designer and creator. She received her degree in public relations from San Diego State University, and has worked in the online industry since the late 1990s where she has served in creative design and management positions for a host of companies and nonprofits. A proverbial “Jill of All Trades,” she has developed a vast skillset over the last two decades that ranges from promotions and digital creation to web design and video editing.



Todd and Heidi live in San Diego with their seven children.
